Who We Are

The New Edinburgh Community & Arts Centre interweaves Arts, Education and Community. The NECTAR Centre is dedicated to providing a community hub and to integrating the arts into community life through dynamic collaborations, innovative outreach programs, diverse exhibitions and cultural events, and creative educational opportunities. It’s about arts meets cultural preservation, meets community building, meets arts incubation, meets civic engagement, meets healthy living. Our vision is larger than its parts. It’s about what it all adds up to.

An ingenious idea like the New Edinburgh Community and Arts Centre doesn’t come out of nowhere. It takes a strong community with imagination and creativity to conceive, and requires guidance and wisdom to grow. Fortunately for us, our Board of Directors, which is composed of both artists and community members, embodies all of those qualities in abundance.
